Welcome to our press areaHowletts Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury, and Port Lympne Wild Animal Park and Gardens, near Hythe, house over 100 species and almost 1000 animals. An exciting feature at Port Lympne includes an 'African Experience' safari trail where animals such as giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and ostrich roam free as in Africa. The mansion hosts events such as conferences, weddings and parties. At Howletts, there are close encounters with tigers and you can now walk alongside lemurs. Gorillas, monkeys, black rhino, elephants and many more rare and remarkable wild animals inhabit both parks. In the summer, an overnight safari at Livingstone Lodge affords the opportunity to wake up to the sounds of the Serengeti - the first overnight Safari in Europe.
